Phase 1 Complete

Yates Electrical Services have just completed the first Redmud Green Energy Solar Farm in the Riverland, South Australia. The 187.2kW Solar Farm based in Renmark consists of seven hundred and twenty 260 watt Solar modules, attached to a pile driven ground mounted framework.

It has taken approximately 2 weeks from driving the first post to laying the last solar panel. The containerized inverter unit has now also been placed on site, and once the finishing touches are in place, the site will be ready for energisation on the 26th of September 2016.

Yates Electrical Services would like to thank everyone who was involved with the design and construction of this solar farm, it was great to see everything come together as planned into a seamless and well orchestrated process.

We look forward to many more of these large scale solar farms being erected in the very near future and aim to promote the future of farming for the Riverland.

Ryder gives the thumbs up

Construction has now officially commenced on Redmud Green Energy's first ground mounted Solar Farm in the Riverland. Once completed, this will be the largest of its kind in the area, and will be the first of many currently in planning by Yates Electrical Services.

After the success of our test site on the Renmark Self Storage, which went live in February this year, it is evident that renewable energy solutions will be a firm contributor to the future stability of the South Australian Energy market, with sites like this being the developments necessary to provide clean energy to not only our state, but the National Electricity Market as a whole.

Today we had our first inspection from our site manager Rider, who has given us the official thumbs up of approval. According to Rider, we are well and truly on track for a late September completion on the site.
